The College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat was established on 26th November, 2013 as one of the constituent colleges of Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur. The FOUNDATION STONE of College of Agriculture, Pasighat under the umbrella of Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal has been laid on the 26th November, 2013 by SHRI SHARAD PAWAR, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & Food Processing Industries, Government of India in August with the presence of SHRI NABAM TUKI, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh; SHRI NINONG ERING, Hon’ble Minister of State for Minority Affairs, Government of India; SHRI BOSIRAM SIRAM, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Science & Technology, Government of Arunachal Pradesh; SHRI SETONG SENA, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Horticulure, A.H. & D.D. Message from the Dean

The College of Agriculture, CAU, Pasighat, the 8th constituent college of Central Agricultural University, Imphal has started its first flagship academic programme i.e., 4 year degree programme from the academic session 2013-14. The mandate of the college is to impart education in different branches of agriculture and its allied sciences; to further the advancement of learning by undertaking research in agriculture and its allied sciences, and to undertake the programs of extension education in the states under the jurisdiction and such other activities as it may deem fit from time to time.
The infrastructure facilities viz., buildings of main academic building, boys and girls hostel, transit hostel, prefabricated structures are coming up in a big way in its new campus. Farm development are in progress including construction of two big water harvesting tanks for irrigation.Read More
